    I'm an alumni, I did not do that for my graduation!! So people understand the entire University graduates at 8:20 and then you go and get your diploma from your school like the business school or the nursing school at individual graduations for each school in different locations

    Mom's birthday today and the weather looks like it will be great. campinspecter has gone to get another load of wood. I am putting the finishing touches on the birthday cake and doing the grocery shopping. When he gets back, we will head over to her house. Fortunately it is a long weekend so she even gets a holiday on her birthday.

    I think that is a great way to do it. No need for everyone to sit through 2700 kids walking the stage.

    My mom rented a house in Essex for the weekend. My sister has a 9 month old, so we stayed at the house until 11 then made our way to Burlington. It was perfect for us.

    Holy crap, I'm sore today. Yesterday I had to dig up a hydrant and replace it. Nothing like digging a hole 4' deep and big enough to get your head and shoulders down in. After that I put metal roofing on my dad's pole barn, then finished the day moving a big swingset into my BIL's yard.

    Got our insurance bill.......back under 4,000 bucks this year, I was figuring it'd be more. Nice relief. But, as Ying yang would have it [​IMG], power steering lines are giving out on the G6. [​IMG] always something I guess.

    I was thinking about a fund raiser for Jessica to send food. She's wasting away. Sam is tiny to begin with but she's strong and has some muscle.

    I was using the chainsaw attachment for the 4" grinder this past Fri and ....... yup!...........You guessed it!

    Just as 99 was walking gout of the cottage into the back yard where I was working, it kissed me through the leather glove, through the finger nail and into the nail bed! I let out a "OW" and turned around to see if she was in the screen porch yet....no such luck...she was just closing the door and asked right away..."How bad is it? Are we going for a ride?" (She has driven to the emergency room more than once)

    Pulled off my glove and thankfully, it wasn't that bad at all. Just going to take a few months for the nail to grow out and I now have an even more healthy respect for that attachment!

    :doh: Sorry yooperdave !

    I've lost a fingernail and lil a toenail from the same darn door that's between the garage and our living room, the crooked floor (1/2" when closed, 1/12" when open. At different times she was standing infront of the door and I had knelt down to attach a shop vac hose to clean the pellet stove and woops. Try not to bonk or bang that nail till it's healed.

    Thank you for seeing what we see every night on TV. It's hard to watch. The brunette I might guess maximum is 110lbs and glad she is fit and active. The blonde, well I would guess she does not tip 100 at this time. Though she did have some meat in her face/arms/legs in earlier pictures. The blondes bust has not changed... Guess it's a sore spot for me, I ate whatever whenever I wanted til like late 30's. I was told I was too thin for so long, but this sweet little thing in walking on twigs and pointing to the weather map with twigs. What say Val Beetle-Kill ?

    Val just thinks they're skinny.
    Sam has always looked like that, even when she was a cheerleader. Jessica is just tiny, but she's only 25 or so, still has a good metabolism I'd guess.
    I'd be happy to make some sammiches for them and run them down, if it weren't for that pesky restraining order thing. ;)
