Glad you are back in business for doing your business.. Looks like you have your handsful with that pool. So many trees hanging over it. Must be a daily event sweeping it out.

Yeah we added a cleanout after a continuous 20' run of pipe that goes 2' through the tank wall so no chance of separating and will be out from under the new deck.
I'll cut it down below grade after the ground has settled and I get a rock rake to grade the yard.

Glad you were able to get it taken care of relatively pain free!

Being across the street from a pond, the town demanded my system be overbuilt. All the piping in my leach field is concrete. It's a 30+ year old system, so I just keep my fingers crossed that it lasts!

I installed an outlet filter on our 35+ year old septic tank.
I'd read that clothes washers send a lot of non-degradable synthetic fibers to your septic that can then clog the drain field pipes. These fibers neither sink nor float so they aren't trapped in the tank.
I experimented a bit by first putting a filter on our clothes washer and was astounded at how much detritus it really does produce. After seeing that I called the tank pumpers and installed the washable filter on the outlet inside the tank. The guys pumping the tank were gracious enough to cut the old tee off for me so I didn't have to get into the tank to install the filter.
I put a riser and cap on the tank access port so it's a simple job to pull the filter and wash it out.
