So I would like to upgrade my wood stove at some point in the near future to an epa certified stove. At this point I have an Alaska Co wood stove. I was browsing a Pennsylvania classifieds site and found this. I was wondering what you guys thought. I haven't reached out about any info yet but I'm wondering if this is an Osburn and the seller misread it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Don't know about the stove, but since you didn't ask, I really like my PE stove.

Contact the seller and ask him to take a pic of the manufacturers label and txt it to you.than you have all the info you need.

I'm planning on contacting them as soon as my membership for the classified thing gets approved. The seller didn't leave any contact info. I'm not sure how you sell something that way .

Do you know anything about these stoves? Guess I could just consult the Google magic internets. It's got all the info.

Do you know anything about them? I'm finding mixed reviews on the interwebs.

Yes it is...it looks like it was manufactured in 99. I'll try to post the pics I was sent. Gonna try to go look at it and maybe bring it home Sunday.

I have spent the last few days preparing my Osburn 2200 for install. I took it apart and repainted it and am doing the first burn outside today. I have some smoke coming from the stove top but am assuming this is the paint curing. Some pics... 20180805_194630.jpg 20180805_194832.jpg

    You bet it is

It took some time to get it up to temp with the warm air outside but it's going now. I think I will transfer some of the pieces to the little fire ring we have and enjoy the rest of the evening. The secondary flames are really cool to watch.
