I thought it may be interesting to see the grocery prices and bargains around the country and other countries. I do most of the grocery shopping and am a real sucker for sales. Kind of working on that addiction. Bargains I picked up today: Baby Back Ribs $1.88 per lbs. Normally in the $4 range Bacon $9.99 for 3 lbs. I am normally a buyer at $4 per pound or under if we need it. Picked up a 12 oz. packet of frozen Halibut for $8. Same packet normally goes for $17.99. I won't buy at the $17.99 price. Call me cheap, but I like to the term frugal better.
You should go one time in her place. You'll be amazed how much "good stuff" you'll find in the fridge or cupboards afterwards!
I used to and will if I have to. For sure it does not take me as long to get the groceries as it does her. That is why we don't grocery shop together except for very rare occasions.
I shop solo. You can hear my cart clacking clear across walmart due to my travel speed. I'm not there to socialize or just to have something to do. Get my stuff and git! Edit for relevancy: I have not scored any good grocery deals lately. I did order a set of nice Merrell winter boots for next season at half off the other day.
