You’re gonna love them! And wonder how you got along without them. Titan attachments seem well built for the money. I think you’ll be very happy!
Looks great. Those sure trac trailers are well built. Do you have a better idea of how many cord you have now.
Yes they are. I'm still thinking around 5 maybe, I don't have a pic of the one load. It is still a little tough to judge. The truck handled the loads really well. My Dad was cutting while I was loading so there is still a pile of logs there, about the size of what is in the first pic with the tractor and trailer. We've are learned from a few mistakes. We were cutting the trees down too small. The smaller stuff is crooked which takes up a lot of room and then there are a more branches too trim the higher you go. There is a guy that wants the small stuff anyway so he can have it. We are planning on going back this Saturday and maybe hauling another 3 loads, so 2 will have to be cut. I was hoping to have the wood we already got cut and split but I have not had a chance to touch it. I still have not even sharpened my saws.
Keeping this thread alive, cleaned up some storm damage then daughter wanted her 'friend' to come over. So I put them to work picking up limbs and pine cones from last storm. Just driving tractor so had phone in pocket..
I could have had them use wheelbarrow. 50 Hp overkill But she's 13 so she needs to figure out clutch. She getting good at backing it out of barn
I agree basod, trying to build confidence. She wants 67 camaro, I told her earn it with honor roll for 2 years and we will restore it together!! May live to regret that one in future..
This little girl just earns her keep. 2 big oaks and a monster pine keeping her busy. Chipper is pizzah too
Negative, clogs the chute. It's good for anything so over half inch, under and you're asking for trouble, so the tops went in the woods.
We cut some logs yesterday. I pulled this big tree top. There was a stump on the close side of the top and I pulled the top right around it. I didn't think it would pull it.
Yep, Chinese copy of the Wallenstein. I got it on ebay advertised as "scratched" delivered to my door for under a grand. After this job is done, it has paid for half of itself!
That's nothing for that beast, but I have gotten them hung up on other tops/stumps before and had to change plans a bit. Working on a roof for a friend right now and used the bota at the eves, the tear shingles of into the bucket drive to the dumpster, doesn't get much easier than that. We've got about 2/3 of the roof torn of(single layer) and my little 3800 will be able to push the dumpster under the eve of the garage to tear that off, didn't think it would do that, but it didn't feel like it was working it bad at all .
Took some hemlock slabs from a friend that had some logs milled. He couldn’t give them away and there was way more than he would burn for campfires. They are all cut up ready to roast s’mores.
