    We’ve had 2 really heavy wind storms here in the past few weeks. Same as any other year really. Usually this kind of stuff is my first firewood harvest of the year.

    I tried to get some pics but it can be hard to capture the scope of it all. So I made a video...

    Those hardwood swamps will keep you in business for decades.
    Be thankful it's muddy but relatively level all 12ac of mine is mountain ridge

    I had a bunch of it milled, some just didn’t make the cut though, as it was too far gone to be worth paying the man and then storing it. Some that didn’t make that cut I milled myself into firewood pallets.

    Thanks for the tour Shawn. Yes, all of that looked familiar and was surprised to see some of those logs still laying from last year. But you'll get them all taken care of. Was a bit surprised to see the water in the woods too. You have much work to be done cleaning up from that big blow.

    I was thinking the same thing - that pallet would look nicer in my living room than our furniture! :D
