    Most likely, just not right now. May look for an older cat from the local Rescue League (where I got Rita from). Would love to have a kitten since they are so much fun, but I just don't have the time to supervise. You never know, another stray may show up and I won't have to go looking.

    We had an American Eskimo that lived for 17 years. She was beautiful and loving and very independent, just like yours. I hope she’s with you for a good long time!
    Here’s our current baby. A Maltese/yorkie mix. 9 years old and spoiled rotten...

    Can you hear Giz shriekin' off in the distance sometimes? :rofl: :lol:... yep, she's part of the family for sure. We're glad she allowed Sandy into her world, a few years ago. They get along fine now.

    It often is a hard road for the recue and for the host. I had three of them that took over a year each to really say they were adjusted. Really hard for them to learn new social skills. Life is different when you don't have to look over your shoulder all the time.
