    A friend and I managed to pick up our bikes from the dealer and ride home without getting rained on (she stores her bike in my town for the summer since she can't keep it at her apartment). As we got into my truck to go get her vehicle (what we used to get to the dealer's), it started sprinkling.

    The original plan was that I would work 1/2 day (7 hours), leave work at noon and she would pick me up at 1:30 to head to the shop - would have put us there about 2:15. Upon seeing the forecast for rain to start earlier, I left work at 10:30 and we made it back to our town shortly after 1. Ha, I got to laugh at the weather gods for a change - they didn't get to ruin the detail job so the bike is still clean and shiny.

    Craigslist camry update.

    After playing around with this guy......

    Not getting a phone number from him ("cuz my phone is broke")
    Not being able to set up a viewing place ( I was within an hour from him)
    All of the replies sent back looked like they were typed out by a kid (spelling, punctuation, misuse of words)
    Unwilling to give address to where I could view it (in his town; asked twice)
    The fact that it did have front end damage (possible air bag deployment?)
    Sounds like he repaired it and had it painted professionally (but what about air bags replacement if they were deployed?)
    No offer of the VIN

    Just too many warning flags to co0ntinue with it.

    I finally got back to drop the ash trunk I skipped last weekend. It was a bit wider than I thought, but I dropped it exactly where I wanted it. I didn't realize how soft the ground was though! About a third of it sunk into the ground. What a bitch getting it to the size I could roll it out of there. My back isn't too happy. Taking a break, and then it's time to load it up. Looks like another stuffed truck picture coming up later.

    Sounds like a good day to hide in the house somewhere and get on the two way radio.

    39 and rain here today. Power broomed the front yard yesterday removing about a 1/2 ton truck load of pine cones, tiny pine branches and dead thatch.
    Greening up already. That 60" front mounted power broom is the "Cat's Arse". My days of raking 1 acre with 26 mature long needled white pine trees
    ARE OVER.........................:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

    Picked up this power washer new never opened or assembled from my neighbor $150. It’s replacing the old electric one that I’ve had for close to 10 years. Little snot still runs good but it’s about half the gpm of the new one!:thumbs: After assembly it took 2 pulls and fired right up! I just broke it in on the cars.:D
