This is my first post, finally signed up. Been I guess I'll say lurking for awhile. I think I have a addiction to wood, and this is the place to be to feed it.
Thanks, I've had my truck along time, the big block is hard on fuel, but it will pull anything I put behind it.
I have a John Deere 4020 with a loader for around home,if I can I will borrow the skid steer and load that way. Then all I have to do is use the dump trailer the one that's pictured and dump the load in my "wood lot" and use the loader to move around the logs to where I buck them up at.
Welcome to the club, 03fatboy ! Thanks for joining up and posting! This really is a fun place to be. Lots of great people, and all are ready to help.
Smartazz..... But if you recall, she wasn’t part of the original equation.....just blankets and the pup....right?
Welcome aboard 03fatboy from the looks of things, you've found the right meeting group. Fortunately, there's not quite 12 steps involved here, mostly 1.. Cut 2.. Split 3.. Stack 4.. Feed stove It could get to 12 steps if you count how many times you move the wood around, but eh. Nice load of wood you're hauling, and glad to see that the Bowtie is serving you well.
That’s why I only camp in the summer and early fall! Jk. But it is nice when all my friends on the fall camping trip complain about how cold it was at night, and I didn’t even notice it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don’t think I’ve ever posted in this thread yet. Here’s the second quick load of the season that I grabbed a couple weeks ago. Seems to be a soft maple I’m guessing. Thanks to the wife for spotting it on the curb of a local condo building. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here’s a quick load from last fall after a big wind storm. A couple different houses in the neighborhood lost birch tree branches. Don’t think I can really call the truck “loaded”. The trailer was though, from the weekend prior. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
