Not really.... I think I only split two big rounds , got about a face cord out of the two though ! The rest of the stacked wood was already there. Man, three plus foot 22” green oak rounds are killers !!
Speaking of Horkn ,,,, pulled the trigger yet? My new to me 3500 Silverado keeps racking up the $$$, not in my favor but end of day...I'll still just have 10K in a 20K truck...If I survive it...
I have way too expensive 15 1500 Z71. Nice truck but I drive it and use it like a old beater. Have access to a 2 ton flatbed through work with a lift gate so unless I am having to off-road to get to the wood I use it.

2018 F-150 supercrew. Undecided between the 5.0 or the ecoboost. Probably leaning toward the 5.0 as I'm a V8 guy. I passed on the easy to find twin turbo v6 in my Audi, and found the rare V8 in my current car.

What year 18? The prior ones had a 6 spd, which is fine, but the 10 spd adds mpg and performance at the same time. For 18 they added dual FI to add power and less maintenance and the 10 speed. It's now up to 395 hp, 400tq. Even Better mpg than my Audi wagon, and it can do everything except eclipse the top speed, and handling that my Audi can. But the truck can do much more. 0-60 is very respectful on the 5.0.
I think it may be a 15 or 14? Not sure on that one. Those are some impressive numbers for the 18. High HP and torque for that 5.0! I remember hearing about the 10 speed also and thought to myself "we'll see how this works out by letting others test them first" What is the projected mpg?
I have 15 150 with the 5.0 and it’s been solid. Tows tractor and dump trailer without issue and the fuel economy is impressive. Was always a Chevy guy but I really like the aluminum fords. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
