IMG_1776.JPG IMG_1777.JPG IMG_1778.JPG I had a woman contact me about oak logs down in her yard. She wanted them gone and has seen on Facebook that I sell firewood. I ask how big and she says 3 feet in diameter. I go out there- less than 5 miles from home and sure enough she wasn't lying. So Friday I spent just under 2 hours cutting the logs to length then yesterday I got my dump truck and tw6 over there as well as my 2 helpers. In an hour and a half we had them broken down to manageable pieces and on the truck. There was more wood than in the picture but I didn't think to take pics for you guys until the second truck load. Got about 2.5 cords out of there total. I'm in love with the new tw6 and log lift!

Awesome, I have researched some of the TW, without a business to expense them hard to justify, but definitely dream machines.
    Great helper!!!

That's an awesome splitter! Looks like you had some help which doesn't hurt either....:) I had some big ones I needed to get out of the woods, ended up whacking them with my maul a couple times and busted them in half just so I could pick them up....

I have the TW5 and love it. You will be able to split a lot with it and the log lift makes a job like you are describing certainly more fun.

On safety plug I’ll give you, is with 3 ft and above diameter the log lift will handle fine, but you can get a piece to fold off back towards the controls when it splits. Happened to me once and broke a control lever. Even chunks off pieces that big can be quite a bit of weight and there is no easy catching of them.
