    I checked the weather a couple three hours ago and it was supposed to be sunny all day. Now I'm hearing some thunder, checked the radar and its going to storm here in about 10 minutes. Guess I won't be getting the early garden planted this AM like I had hoped. Grrrrr.

    Not exactly a bad idea either, but I have a more pressing need for a garage. Doing certain stuff out in the cold is getting old.

    Kinda breaks my heart in one way to have to replace the grass with gravel.....but its just too slippery when wet......might have to get rid of some of the lupins too......have to find somewhere else to plant some.......maybe the trees right out front would look good preceded by lupins.....

    Junk Mail! Mailbox is loaded with the stuff.
    "Get our credit card. 0% interest." When you look at the fine print 26% after 6 months intro period.
    Today. "Buy life insurance for your grandkids."
    "Have we got a deal for you. Get your free quote on auto insurance." Wow a free quote. If your changed me for a quote I sure as heck wouldn't be buying you insurance.
    And the one I really love. "You are pre-approved for our credit card. Just fill out the enclosed credit application." Wait a minute. If I was pre-approved why do I have to fill out your application forms.
    Rant over, but I have a junk mail proposal.
    Companies. Save the paper and just write your advertisements on a piece wood and send it to me. I would appreciate it more and be more likely to read it. After all, Doesn't paper come from wood?    ​

    I myself like this Friday for the fact that a VERY worn ball joint is getting replaced on the truck.....don't want that wheel coming off.....

    well it is Friday the 13th, and we are in the beginning stages of getting slapped in the face by Mother Nature, rain - ice then snow depending on location in state up to 8" plus drifting.

    If you are talking about the junk mail that comes via snail mail, I don't mind that. At least it isn't a bill and I have a large recycle bin the junk mail goes in.:hair:

    I did this a few years back and it helped a lot, link is from the Federal Trade Commission. The catalogs are starting to come again as I order something from a certain place, but much better than it was. And getting the mail is PITA for me , mail box lock bock is several miles away and its always windy and cold so just getting the mail into the truck is tricky.

    Stopping Unsolicited Mail, Phone Calls, and Email




    This also looked intersting though I have not used it, but I am familiar with Eco-Cycle.
