Norway Maple? CL in my area has been swamped with free wood like this. Usually 1 or 2 new postings a day. I check a few times a day yet haven't picked any up in a while due to dealing with my own downed trees and other stuff family members have taken down. But, I'm still addicted to checking!

It was last Summer. Worcester and a couple other adjacent towns. Firewood is supposed to get inspected and anything with signs of ALB gets destroyed, anything else can be used as firewood. But I guess it can't travel past the zones. Or shouldn't. Supposedly the destruction and detection program is working, they keep finding less and less signs of the ALB. They cut and destroyed a LOT of trees down 5 or 6 years ago though.
I remember that. They were shredding and incinerating it. An old friend of mine is a crane operator for a tree co. He spent a lot of time out there clearcutting some areas
