    They're starting to repopulate Southwestern NY also, seen one 2 years ago when out deer hunting. At first I thought it was a cat, but it moved more like a weasel or a marten.

    Called DEC, they said it was probably a fisher. Looked them up online, figure it was.

    Guess they will keep the porcupine population real low though. :yes:

    We've been seeing a fisher around my parents house for many years.
    The neighbor just saw it a couple months ago coming around the house

    I saw one while I was looking out our window. In the same spot where I have seen bobcats and coyotes. I never allow my cats outside. My cats are all himalayans and have no clue about self defense.

    Was told only around $50 but they are going to another one this weekend and will find out if they are going up? That one off the road will have to wait abit though.;)

    His 2 boys are into it more than the old man and I have seen their work.:yes:
