My neighbor and I straightened it as best we could. I used the backhoe arm and hydraulics, he used a hammer and pry bar while I did. We got it back pretty close. We pulled the two pins and took it off for a better look.

It looks like it may be best for him to “finish the job”. He may just cut the back out and straighten it and then put it back in. I asked him if he could make it stronger this time. He will see what he can do.

    I have faith in him.

Man, I've tore up some backhoe buckets...but that's a new one on me! Nice work! :handshake:   ;)
Yeah I would think that could be put back better/stronger than it was before.
Did the welds fail or did the metal tear?

Looks to me like the metal tore. But I’m no expert. No sense in buying a new one if he can fix this one for 1/4 of the price or less. We’ll see.

He said it looks like it has been happening over a period of time. You could see cracking marks.

Comes with my territory I guess. I bought this tractor for the same reason I bought the others. Get chit done. They get a lot of heavy duty work done for me.

Well, there's your problem! What brand of tractor (or backhoe if it isn't oem) is that?
