Here it is near the end of March and it is 9 F outside. Sill burning 2 bags daily. That's a lot for this time of year, but not for those temps. Saw some 40's for the end of the week. Now trying to figure out if it will do the usual thing of going back into the arctic air, or calm down for the season.

 

WMUR mentioned that after this bout of cold air, there are no 30's in the foreseeable future. All above 40 high temps.
Lets hope they are right

 

I have come close a couple times to running out. Secured 25 bags of somersets yesterday. Little higher then I like to pay at 5.50 a bag, but this late in the game, you do what you have to!

Thanks Will, but I miss getting the pellets for 5 dollars a bag, sometimes a little cheaper. Hopefully I can find a good bargain this fall.

 

I hear ya man , but you don't mind it as much when you know you're getting a great product and the Set's rock . I'm looking for fall bargans too

Good luck Save. I had a knee reconstruction done 2 years ago. ACL, PCL, Meniscus, and Cartilidge. It was a 6 month recovery, but it's holding up well. Hope it all works out for ya.

 

Went for a haircut. Talked to the barber about what to do for a beard. I don't want to look like Santa. Spitting snow here off and on. Just snow showers. It is hard waiting for the snow to melt. our front walk didn't get shoveled. I can't do it and didn't ask the kids to do it as I am grateful they keep the driveway clear and the access to the lower door.
Keeping my fingers crossed that this next storm goes out to sea. Sick of all of the mess.

 

Got some good news , my son Eric went to the promotion board today and is now a Sargent in the US ARMY proudly serving his country.

Decided to let the stove go out today so when I got home I could give it a quick cleaning. House temp was 65* when I got home very windy here . All cleaned and back on line and the temps are rising

 

A good job done will. I shut the pellet stove at camp down today as well. Going to clean it late this afternoon or early evening and then fire it back up. Going to close to 0° tonight. Then the warm up comes, slow but sure.

 

Glad I didnt shut down today. With the wind, its damm cold out there and the house would have been too cold if shut down all day.

 

This wind really is terrible today.....A couple more days and hopefully we'll start getting over the hump!
