No winds yet, expected to pickup and drop into the teens tonight. We did have some snow last night and some heavy rain bands move through today. Clearing up now.

We sure didn't get the advertised 60°! And it rained all day. I can hear the wind whistling in the chimney, more pinecones on the lawn tomorrow, maybe branches too. All the snow is just about melted, and the grass is greening up. I'm so desperate to get outside, I'll even enjoy raking!

Winds are picking up now, along with some snow squalls. Just fired up the woodstove to battle the windchills overnight.

Wind has been blowing for a few hours. It’s getting pretty strong. Temp is now 38° and I should have started a fire, but it was in the 50s all day and we were relying on the oil burner. Might even be too windy at this point. We’re supposed to have snow on Friday and Saturday. It’ll suck if it happens.

Had some overnight here as well. Then the wind picked up. Not as bad as everyone else had, but miserable enough to keep the real feel temps in the single and low teens.

With any high wind event I go with the furnace if needed, if people want to burn in the wood stove or wood furnace with 65 mph wind gust that's ok with me but I won't.

These winds took down a sugar shack today with one man losing his life.

We lost power around 7:35 tonight so we hooked the generator up until around 11 tonight.

The winds are still humping it up at times with the high wind warning going until 5 a.m. tomorrow.

Hope you get power back soon. The wind quieted down this morning then picked up again until about a half hour ago. Strange.

Thanks- yup.... it came back on a little bit ago. Many without power here- lots of trees down. Cold night ahead- hopefully those w/o power stay warm.

Heck Daryl .........I'd be happy with being able to look outside and not see snow and ice!

My outdoor digital thermometer was showing 158F this morning. Sounds like beach weather.
