Well it’s bitter sweet but I shutter Down. 70’s for highs high 40’s for lows. The sweet is that I’m tired and out of 2018 wood (3year plan) and the bitter is I just like to BURN!!! My last chimney clean was 1/20/18 but I don’t have a clean out so I have to take my stack off of the stove which sucks. I was anxious to see what accumulations were there. I’m happy to say that any accumulation in the stack was as soft as cotton and practically fell of when I hit it with the brush. This makes me happy. I credit you guys and especially Eric VW for encouraging me to burn HOT. I feel so much more confident going into the 2018/2019 burn season. I am close to my 3 year plan and so I know my wood will be dry or close to ready to burn. Happy Easter guys! He is risen! And I am alive because he lives!
We need to get you to do a little concrete work and install a clean out... Will make your life so much easier
Had friends from church over for Easter dinner today and one of them brought 3 daffodils from her garden. He is risen, He is risen indeed. Hope everyone is having a blessed Easter.
Oh my goodness it’s terrible to have to shut down and remove the stack midway through the burning season. Especially when you have to let the stove cool and the fam is complaining about its cold lol. If you are every down this way, I’ll compensate you for the work! Plus I’ll help!
No compensation required....but you’ll be doing the grunt work while I take progress pics Plus I’d bring the tools and the knowledge
Right next to the concrete basement wall on the southern exposure where the snow has melted, a couple peoni sprouts are starting to peek out. But no daffodils!
The Get Together upcoming is in Michigan at Backwoods Savage 's place... There are several other GTG's in queue as well.. The mention of one in the post you quoted was a suggestion to help CHeath (who lives within an hour from me) cut in a chimney clean out.
