But now I’m back! I took another job with the company that moved us from Wisconsin to Springfield MO. Since we’re from Okla, this gets us closer to family. Anyway we landed on a little 10ac spot north of town and I finally got out to start cleaning up the woods a little.

Most of what’s down has started to rot pretty good but I’m finding some usable stuff. Found a leaner that needed to come down. I think it’s some type of hickory but since no leaves are out yet, I’m not sure what kind. After I topped it out, there was 44’ that got bucked up.
Here’s a shot of a couple of the buds getting ready to open if you can tell what kind it is.

Anyway, it’s good to be back. I need to update my profile but I might cry when I change my stove from a Woodstock Fireview to a Heatilator insert .

Thanks for the invite. We've got a little country church we're going to tomorrow. Sounds like you're just a little east of me. I'm about 4mi south of Pleasant Hope. Beautiful area around here, I think we're going to like it. The wife is a little worried about copperheads but that may make her stay in the house more.....maybe not such a bad deal

    Glad you're back on FHC!
I may have lost a neighbor to the north, but someone else gained a new neighbor.

that's a great piece to have or a 410 Mossberg but the judge is eazer to carry around vs a straight up pump shot gun

Yes the Governor has moon clips to use 45ACP.
    I keep 2 buck shot
    2 bird shot
And 2 45LC in it typically
