    Midwinter, I'm sorry to hear your mother is still in the hospital. Is she improving? I have an appt with a chiropractor tomorrow at 11, back pain is better but hip is worse :heidi: (I'll pick up the helium tank at walmart for his bday too :) )

    Sorry the back pain moved to the hip, I hope the chiro can chase it away for good!
    Mom has developed pneumonia, so is on IV antibiotics, but hopefully can go back to her nursing home under hospice care in a few days. Thanks for asking.

    Took a quick ride to the cottage today and cut up[ some hardwood slab/cutoffs. Just about 5 wheelbarrow loads is all. Snow is still too deep.



    No pics as usual Eric VW ...I did have the camera but was running the chainsaw, not the camera! Did it really happen.....or not?

    Yes, I was at Leader. Because I had nothing better to do on the second to last day of our fiscal year. 8 hours round trip, now I can catch up on everything I should have been doing all day.

    I was dumbfounded by the size of the big evaporator when I first walked in the door....then I was just in awe of this monster that was 20 feet behind it.

    To give you some perspective, the short left side is 7-8' tall.

    42F outside and rainy/damp conditions....67 F in the house when I got home... Why did I have to load the stove with Honey Locust and Hedge tonight? Arent we within eyesight of April? I'm usually in a 1 fire per day or two by now... But stilling rolling with almost 2 fires a day still...

    I've been dieting for just about two months....trying to figure out how I managed to lose 9lbs in 5 days with nothing more than about 1/2 an hour of splitting firewood as exercise. o_O

    It freezes well too if there is too much left over. Oh, and ham & pea soup, or cream of potato and ham soup is great too :stirpot: - great, now I'm hungry :drool:

    This is true. Worked till midnight last night and by the time I got to sleep it was 1:15. Slept till 9:15. Feel good now.
