http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/big-bad-wood/ So, did anybody watch this last night? Appears to be another scripted reality show, but at least the content is interesting. Hope they don't turn it into a competition like all the rest, but I won't be surprised. I think the car that got smashed was staged.
A show like that can be interesting and watchable without all the drama and bs they always seem to interject. Once I realize that they are staging what they are doing I start to loose interest.
speaking of staged drama/crapola....I seen on a commercial while watching History channel last night that Ax Men is returning for a 6th season on November 10th. I would PAY to see one of his crew bust that whiny immature crybaby lardarse Gabe Rygaard straight in the mouth. Get a clue, dude. You know why your crew don't respect you? Because you don't respect yourself for one thing. Sad to say I'm guessing 80% of the people watching that really think that's how the timber industry works...
I don't have a whole lot of firsthand experience in the tree service biz, but from what I have seen it looks pretty representative of what goes on. If it prevents one 'free wood, u cut' craigslist ad, then the producers have done their jobs
