Midwinter, I'm sorry to hear your mother is still in the hospital. Is she improving? I have an appt with a chiropractor tomorrow at 11, back pain is better but hip is worse :heidi: (I'll pick up the helium tank at walmart for his bday too :) )

Cripes! You could put steel wheels on the side of that and a cowcatcher on the front and have a nice steam locomotive!!!

Sorry the back pain moved to the hip, I hope the chiro can chase it away for good!
Mom has developed pneumonia, so is on IV antibiotics, but hopefully can go back to her nursing home under hospice care in a few days. Thanks for asking.

Thanks ole. I don't feel so bad now seeing we got an 18lb ham for 8 people. Ours is not spiral cut.

Took a quick ride to the cottage today and cut up[ some hardwood slab/cutoffs. Just about 5 wheelbarrow loads is all. Snow is still too deep.

No pics as usual Eric VW ...I did have the camera but was running the chainsaw, not the camera! Did it really happen.....or not?

Yes, I was at Leader. Because I had nothing better to do on the second to last day of our fiscal year. 8 hours round trip, now I can catch up on everything I should have been doing all day.

I was dumbfounded by the size of the big evaporator when I first walked in the door....then I was just in awe of this monster that was 20 feet behind it.

To give you some perspective, the short left side is 7-8' tall.

I've been dieting for just about two months....trying to figure out how I managed to lose 9lbs in 5 days with nothing more than about 1/2 an hour of splitting firewood as exercise. o_O

Love that show! Watched in reruns through the mid 90s to 00s when it became harder to find on. I don't think it's on tv anywhere now:(
