In the 3rd pic it looks like the bucket is too high. Look at the piece of metal near the spring.

I bet it feels nasty too! Throbbing even! Betting the toes are a result of too small footwear while he was growing.

The way it is bent will not allow the hydraulics to straighten it. I guess the picture really does not show exactly how it is bent. I'll work on it in a couple days; have to go to the big city today then rainy weather forecast.

Jack, I'll take some more pictures from different angles to show. One thing that makes the bucket look too high is that I pushed the pin down just to show how far it is from going into the slot. The bend seems to be more from left to right rather than up and down. I don't think the arm is bent at all; just that front plate where it fits on the bucket. I can actually get the pallet forks to fit on it okay but the slot is much larger on the forks and that is one problem I have with them.

Just a little twist and I got the bucket to latch on but still have some straightening to do as it is still off a bit. At least I'm able to use it.

Dennis, (I think) you only "twerked" that pipe that connects the left & right together and lost your "timing" I had the same thing happen and I just cut the pipe in the middle and put a bigger pipe over it and welded it up.

Here is your pic, it's not a big deal to fix and the dealer may just want to sell you the whole expensive part that you don't need.

After I cut that pipe, I un pinned the bucket cylinder so that side would pivot away, slipped a bigger pipe over (measuers so that it was as long as it could be, ie from the cut to the loader) welded & ground it down the cut I made then welded up the new pipe.

I just put on a bucket for the proper alignment prior to welding.

That's kinda what I was thinking too...that's why I mentioned running the cylinders clear out, or in...see if its straight then...I would think you could do this for realigning after cutting the pipe too...keep the cylinder rods protected for welding that way too (if they were sucked in)...good idea to cut the pipe and weld a sleeve onto it

Do you have KTAC? You have a nice new tractor. Why not file a claim and get a new quick attach for $250? If if fixed it, I would put a whole new pipe in.

I was at the scrap yard one day and I saw a guy come across the scales with a bunch of mowers and a Kubota SSQA on the truck. I ran over and asked him if he would sell it to me and I offered him $20 which was 10 or 20 times scrap price. It is bent and needs a new pipe. The funny thing is the QA is the same as the one on my LA854 loader. One day I am going to fix it and make a 3 point hitch to SSQA adapter. Oh yeah, the decals on the pipe that connects the two halves are scratched off where he had been using a rope around it to lift. I wonder how it got bent:rofl:

fuelrod you may be right. I'm not done messing with it yet but can't do much for a couple days because of a medical procedure I had done yesterday. I shouldn't have even messed with the loader when I got home but the weather was so nice....

Keep your eyes on the backhoe pins once that is attached. My unit keeps walking out one of the quick detach pins. There is one in the yard somewhere. It constantly wants to walk out of the receptacle.
