I'm still running my AWF White Pines, but I'm almost out of pellets. Got about five bags left. I wasn't supposed to be needing them much anymore this season. As I sit here with about a foot of fresh snow from today...

Anyway, here's a pic of what's NOT in the hopper. Noticed this guy as I was pouring. One of these things is not like the others!!

Haha!!  I don't know what it is... Doesn't smell like poo. Wonder what it tastes like...

I'm sure this isn't the only problem pellet ever made by the manufacturer. I'm assuming they have an optical sorter or something that is supposed to eject stuff like this from the line, but this stowaway made it through customs.

Anyway, it's sitting on top of the mantle as a trophy.

Reminds me of a Cheech and Chong skit about dog poo.
Will let people look for it. Funny ending.

I'm burning some Shelton, WA DFs.

Some days/weeks we go w/o using the pellet stove and just burn from the wood stove -- and then we return to the pellet stove. It's a great thing. We've had the stove running all night and it's so great to wake up to a warm house.
