didn't take much of a push to get me out of the hole and got out with a full load but truth is I knew better as soon as I turned off the road going in...at least it was a nice day for a walk
I would think it would be okay as long as you did not over load it to much. could try to find a finer mesh.
That trailer has a 3 ton axle on it so not worried about overloading with mulch. I load mulch with a silage fork from on top of piles made with a payloader so loading high is easy and fast and would reduce the number of trips. Would have to control myself with wood though. Compost is usually the weight killer of what I typically haul. I'm usually at capacity by the time I get to the top of the metal box unless it is really dry.
When you were hauling small debris that would get out thru the mesh, drape the fences on the inside with tarps.
