    Well we saw another preschool today, and have pretty much decided to go with the first one we visited at the Lutheran church. This afternoon I'm getting out to the airfield finally! ( will grab pics Gasifier) then prob take the kids out for pizza. Vacation almost done..

    Finally got out to the airfield. A couple other guys out, all helicopters this time.

    Raja bought a new windsock for our clubhouse which we put up...

    Thought we didn't need it to tells us it was wiiiiiiiiindy. 10-15 sustained with gusting to 30. Too windy for the airplanes, which get kicked around like the real thing (a model plane in 20mph wind is like flying a Cessna in a hurricane). Helicopters area lot more stable in the wind though, the spinning rotor acts like a gyroscope and helps resist getting kicked around sideways, however when a big gust comes through it can pick you up vertical 50 feet without warning, or blow you down. Have to be careful.

    My little electric looks tiny next to the big gas heli's.

    Nice pics of the Heli there Jack the Knife.

    I managed to get a few of the posted signs up on the property in the last few days. Took the machete type blade I bought for trimming brush and the like with me to clear some of the areas so they can be seen good. Found a few ticks on my jeans after. Hate those little bastards.

    Nice Heli Jeremy! We have a group around here that call themselves the Maple City Prop Busters. LOL. I don't know anything about them, but it is a good name.
