That's a great price for MWP, and delivered no less! Wish we could get them around here at a price like that, this time of season.
I have a ton being delivered tomorrow. SIB is a nice place to deal with. Unless I get a drastic reduction like I got two years ago, I am sticking with SIB and the MWP brand.
Please don't laugh but I've never burned hardwoods. I honestly don't know if you can get them out here.
dude.. your in washington state? next state over is where most of the best Douglas fir softwoods come from.. should be lot cheaper for you there due to less shipping cost.... i'd be doin a road trip to Oregon....
Oh, it isn't all Oregon unless you're promoting Bear Mountain and others,. We've got our own DF pellet 'factories' here and I won't buy anything else. Olympus comes out of Shelton, WA. I just bring it up because I honestly do not recall ever seeing a bag of hardwood pellets out here. I just bought a ton and half of pellets of Olympus for $300.
Softwood heaven..... good God i'm moving to the Northwest!! Actually, being that close, thought they would be cheaper.......maybe..
Dark, dank winters... but much, much warmer than you hardy folk. I think if you're a pellet burner, this is a good place to be. But you'd be surprised at the price of cord wood out here. I'll take your prices anytime.
yea, I guess its all what you're used to! My aunt still lives in Snohomish. She complains about the rain, the humidity, and the lack of sun. We complain about Noreasters. Im not sure whats worse.....well, yea, I do....I don't have to plow and shovel humidity!
Center of town of Snohomish is about 5 miles from me. And not sure about that humidity thing. Nothing like the Midwest, South, or Mid-Atlantic states. So you just have your Aunt out here or do you have roots here?
I tell that to relatives who live in florida and Ga... tell them i would rather have couple days of snow than constant heat and humidity most months.
My aunt and uncle moved out there after he got out of the 'Nam. He was a NILO there, when the war ended, he went to work for the DEA. Moved up to Snohomish, loved it there. He died several years ago, she still lives there with their Mastiff and Rottweiler babies.
$199 is pretty cheap for DF's... doesn't matter that they are local. We can't get anything close to that here.. for local.. Dan
