Not really, not a lot of people go to church any more so the native American's realized it was just easier to use their own taxes against them! Spoken as part-Indian, (feathers, not the dot on the forehead), as well as because Maine is the most unchurched state in the nation, followed by New Hampshire and Vermont! (all in joking people...except for the part-Indian part)
Thanks for the back story. You have to know my friend, great guy, but is disenchanted with VT and makes everything out to be against a working man/woman.
Hej hej all, Day 3 in to the stumpburn, this morning it was still smoking and i can see the stump is getting shorter. Took some wacks with the splitting maul but i feel there is still a lot of “flesh” left. So i set up the barrel again and filled her to the rim with firewood. I am starting to think that the next time i want to get rid of a stump it migh me faster just to use an old chainsaw and cut it in to the ground. Still i feel i have to try this one, otherwise u can only speculate about it. So far i used about 2,5 kilo of charcoal and about 3 wheelbarrols full of firewood. This is the last day i can maintain this fire because i am leaving on a roadtrip to stockholm. I will give u an update when i get back, later all and have a nice day!
Its a cool idea if you've got one or two to get rid of...but if you have a whole bunch I imagine you'd burn a years worth of firewood to do this! I've got about a dozen I need to get rid of...I plan to just rent a stump grinder for the day this summer and do them all at once.
No .. great grampa when he got mad went out with a stogie and a box of dynamite. Then horses and kids went out with dray for a week and remembered not to irritate him!! Also got boulders and the garden got bigger
