Lucky you. I just checked the weather report and they are saying 12-20” when it’s all over. It’s snowing hard, but it’s wet and keeps compacting itself. We’ve been hovering around 32° all day.
Nothing at all today for snow that would matter or change your plans, we hit 37 today so that felt nice.
My Bronco has HID headlights, they are fantastic in the snow. So I thought, I should put HID's in the plow lights too! TERRIBLE idea! They really do light the snow up like I'm going light speed. So bad that I don't use them when traveling with the plow up.
That three won't last long this time of year, they keep saying 4-5 inches of snow for us after the storms over with tomorrow at 7 p.m.
Power went out at 6pm and didn’t come back until 10 this morning. Wound up with about 16”+. Just finished with snow blowing the driveway. Glad my son did the work.
Wow! How did you get off so easy we got twice that and then about 4 or better more as it kept on all day and it was wicked wet, I have to snow blow again tomorrow...
There were crazy pockets of heavy snow and light. Half hour away had double. I'll take it! Edit: it is and has been snowing quite heavy for the past hour, not expected to end until 2am
I think my power is back on! Just drove by my street, and the light over our mailboxes was lit. Wife is in the grocry store now, then I will find out for sure. Gonna be pizzed if I find out that light is on a separate feeder.
Aaaaaand pizzed it is. Main road has power, but mine wraps around the shore of the pond. Not sure where it actually comes from. They got a lot of the town back online this evening. Hopefully, ours will be back tomorrow.
Yeah, it's one of those cheapo screamers. It's driving me crazy it's so damm loud. Once my wife finishes eating I'm gonna turn the lights off and see if she agrees that the candles are sufficient. Need to quiet that damm thing up asap. A Honda 7000 watt invertor unit isn't in the budget.
At least you have something for some power. I bought a couple of battery-powered LED lanterns 2, 3 years ago, D cells last a really long time
