some of the stuff in my stacks were cut before the new stove so, it's to long No matter how hard I push or how much I cuss it just won't fit, got some of it trimmed down today, and got a tub full of little chunky monkeys . I have about two thirds of a cord more to trimm
Wife calls them little pieces "Pug-Nubs" (don't ask - I don't have a clue) and she likes to throw a couple handfuls into a "going" fire when I'm not around.
] The old stove was a heat monster and with dry wood I could run it pretty darn clean, it put the heat out pretty much equally All the way around. the 4 inch clearancees on this Lopi mean almost all of the heat is put out through the front and top. The new stove retains heat a lot longer ,burns less wood, requires less attention. after running it this long cold winter I really love the Lopi going from a 8cf fire box to a 2.2 , was a big change but the new stove has no trouble heating my 1200 sq ft house
