Indoor car show sort of a kick off to Flint's back to the bricks. These pictures were taken on Friday, 2-9-18 during snow that dumped 9 inches on us.

Venue is the Dort Federal Credit Union event center home of the Flint Fire Bird's hockey team of the Ont. Hockey league.

First seen this set up at Caseville last summer. The owner did a nice job on both the truck and the car.

Proto Type Buick, I would buy one of these in a new york minute. Love the lines of it.

Lots of car collectors in Michigan, many made their living in the auto plants. I do believe there is some one who will collect even the lowly Nash Ramblers, imported English stuff also .
Will start off with a couple projects. a 66 dodge and a 59 Ford. they are in good shape compaired to where some have started from.

Another Chevell, in the summer I don't take pictures of Chevells, Camoras, Mustangs and very few Vets. There just so many out there, only differences is the personal touches like the wheels and paint jobs.

Beautiful 32 just finished 2 weeks before the show.

This one came from Mt Plesant drove down on Thursday before the snow started. The owner wanted you to know all the details, and it was not a trailer queen. Said the gull wing door took 5 months to figure out and make them work.

If you go to car shows in the summer if the owner has a note book or some thing take the time to look at that too. You will be amazed at what went into making the beautiful car, really some one took that hunk of junk and made it like new again.

    Another beautiful old rag top.

This 32 was painted 28 years ago and recently sold. the wagon in the back ground was also painted 20 some years ago. they were what drew us to have the guy paint our Buick which should just about be finished.

So that is all but a couple cars that made it to Chrome and Ice 2018. Next year we plan on having out Buick there.

We will be attending many shows this year Port Huron is high on our list, about all of the ones in the Thumb of Michigan except Frankinmuth, We will go to St. Johns north of Lansing and the fall cider mill up US 27.

So if you see our newly painted Beautiful Buick stop and say hello and look at our easel.

Hopefully most of those cars were brought in on enclosed trailers and after the event was over put them in the trailers without having to go outside! I feel bad for the guy's who drove there cars to the show:eek::headbang::bug:! I'll bet they were freaking out having to drive them home in the snow!:hair::hair: :(That would be a long painful detailing process after they got home!:headbang:

Many were driven in on Wednesday before all the snow fell. By Sunday afternoon the snow had stopped so many were driven back home on Monday.
But always a good Idea to wash the cars down from roof to under body.
