Wedding Dresses: Available at Good Will and Salvation Army in case anyone wants to start a new firewood trend.
Once, and I refuse to ever do it again. I tore up my yard and woods trails badly one year because I needed (not wanted) to move firewood. I swore I'd always stay ahead so that I didn't have to make a mess until the ground hardened up again. I can't even walk in my yard right now without leaving footprints, and that's on the "lawn".
I hear ya, I sunk a pickup or two in mud the out back getting wood. Try finding someone with another truck to pull you out during working hours. And oh, the fun part, you usually have to unload some or all of the wood to get the stuck truck out.
Nice, i cut my wood in wellies..but snowshoes. madness! Looks like you can cut on public land, do you need a permit or is it free to do so.
I am down to less than a full cord in the shed. We still have 1.5 ish months of winter. It was a nice day to do a family winter thing.
Supposed to have a permit. But poplar doesn't count against the cordage. Neither does blowdown. So this is how I do my falling . Forestry likes how I take out the poplar without tearing up the spruce.
Incidentally, I'm looking forward to using my 12"Husky hand tongs when loading the woods trailer and truck. I really think they will be easier on my wrist than the pulp hook for certain things. Not as good for others.
Truly Land of the free! Here you need a permit to wipe.... im sure youll get what i mean. Except i heard you cant drink on the street/in public like. And got to be 21 to buy beers.
