    Easy Heats $162/ton
    Pro Pellet $189/ton
    Uncle Jed's softwoods $238/ton
Red Western Elite ponderosa pine (60 bags) $288/ton
    UJ Doug Fir $321

June 15th delivery. $42.00 Buyers Club prices...

I only bought about 30 bags from them this year... the local lumber yard has good prices on decent Indeck softwoods ($205/ton) and a good local hardwood ($199/ton) and they are one mile down the road.

Ya think? :p I was asking because I have seen so many ask a fee per ton, vs, per delivery. My man in Jay delivers "free" to veterans. He won't even take a tip!~ At least he wouldn't this last time. I was able to tip him in the past, but this time I mentioned my veteran's status. I don't know if he is a vet or not, but he works very hard for what he makes. I don't know how he does it, but he does. Good prices and good service.

That Buyer's Club gives you a better pre-season price plus a discount off the regular season price. The regular in season retail on the EZ's is $220 and the preferred customer price is $205... if you pay cash you get an additional $5/ton discount. So the early buy is actually $157...

They DO deliver but I'm not sure what the charge is...

The Buyer's club also gives you a 30% discount off retail price on parts... last year was the first year I didn't do the BC deal... needed a room fan blower and they still gave me the discount. I think the parts guy just did me a solid favor since I'm a 12 year customer.

Back when pellets were in short supply before '07 (?) ESES only sold to their customers who bought stoves from them... about 4-5 years ago we had a similar deal with supply due to rail car shortages (I'm sure Doug remembers that). Their customers could get pellets but I think it was a 20 bag limit each visit. Once the rail cars showed up again it was business as usual.

During those shortages they got the reputation of being Pellet Nazis... but those who bought stoves had heat!
