    I need my head checked, "DON'T GO THERE" :p…. I got a hit on some down Cherry wood on a friends, neighbors farm they want removed. So I drive 25 miles to the stihl dealer for a back up chain for my 250, walk in and grab my chain, put it on the counter then noticed this "cute" 170 sitting on the shelf… I said to the guy at the counter, what a nice little saw, he says yup, it's my last one, I only had a few:eek:….. "Well I just couldn't let it get lonely :(up there all by itself:eek: so I brought it home to play with the others….:confused: My wife asked me if I was sick, I said no I feel fine….

    I think most of is buy im cause there cute n tiny , cheap ans best of all a Stihl!!

    They sell the to homeowners like candy cause its a Stihl , so its professional and its CHEAP!!!!

    I still want one...why??? I dont know?? I'm getting like Dex I like saws in the 70cc range or bigger. But I'm still looking on CL for one. Won't pay more than $65-90 though for them. They go for !$120-200??? For a $179 new saw!!

    It was $179.00, but... with military discount and taxes included, only $182.00 out the door.

    Nice!! :thumbs: That's a nice little saw! I bought one for my father Christmas before last and it's got plenty of power for the light stuff. Light weight, Runs great, and an awesome price point!! Congrats! :yes:



    I got the itch last week and ordered another Mtronic from my dealer. :)
    Should be in this Thurs or Fri :hair:

    Thats why u dont have the cash for this other stuff.


    I passed on a good deal on a 261 that looked pretty good. I think it was a good deal but I think in this area I would have had trouble flipping it and do t think the online profit would of been there to sell it. And I dont want a 50cc saw at that price.

    Grabbed one last year Dave and like it alot :) Back saver for sure and use it for limbs/trees around a foot wide.

    Only problem i have with it is, its very light and have caught myself taking my left hand off it while cutting :loco: :crazy:;)

    Emma looks like she's checkin supplies…. yup, having a small saw sure has made my cutting a lot easier too. I ought to pick up a saw case to keep stuff corralled. Nice pic with all the leaves too.

    Hey Stinny..

    She's always on me to keep things up to par ;)

    I think i paid $230 for the saw and it came with the case/extra chain/oil/hat/and some kind of cd?

    Beauty day yesterday and cut a trailer load of dead elm with it that i will post later. Got the 4 wheeler stuck 1 minute into the plan so the camera wasnt really in my little brain after that :hair:
