Change dog to cat but add between each "will YOU make up your mind! In or out!
Then multiply it by about 30 or 40 times.

my six cats are all indoor only cats. They often spend their days in the window watching the birds and squirrels tease the hell out of them. The birds and squirrels have figured out that the cats can't bother them. The cats just sit and paw the glass over and over never accepting that the can't move on.

Thanks. i think our new boy is not big enough for that his feet are not plate size. Sure would like to know what he could be. Looks like he is here to stay, the neighbors don't seem to know him.

Well, honestly i don't really know yet. The new kid is still very young, barely grown is my guess. Haven't actually looked at his teeth yet, don't want to overwhelm him.
I really need to find a name for him. He is a bit too exuberant for Max so he's been grumped at a couple of times. His reaction is to put his front legs down and his butt up in the air, the "come play with me " mode.
The feeding went over well but i have been staying with them and take the bowls up when they are done. I'm very careful to always pet Max first. The new guy must not have had treats in the past. He buries the cookie treat and very reluctantly eats a milk bone. He is velcroed to Max, follows him around everywhere he goes. Time will tell.

I've had dogs that could take them or leave them (treats). Other dogs would eat anything offered - including lettuce.

Well, I've had some one on one time with our new pup yesterday. He is younger than i thought, his size fooled me. Thor, he may reach your dog's size yet. He is not neutered as i assumed but his testicles are still developing. so my guess is he is between 7 and 12 months or so. Still have to check his molars to see if they are all in. He is a very good boy, his manners are improving. After taking off with a bowl of 2lbs of cut up chicken, he is now learning that anything on the table is not his to take. He thinks its pretty unfair, he'll learn. It's harder for these big guys since their nose is right on the table. When i call him he comes flying hardly touches the ground and sometimes can't stop in time. He is so happy that someone loves him. Max has decided its ok to put up with him.

Welcome to the family big boy, your a lucky dog :)

I had a bunny that I must have checked 15 times and assumed he was neutered, he was old enough his testes would have already dropped. I was wrong, turn out he was sucking them up every time I looked.

His personality is still a bit hard to tell. Mostly just puppy and glued to Max. He is friendly with other dogs but a bit shy of people until he knows them. I suspect he's been run off from places around here.
Right now when i want him to come i just call Max. Maybe i ought to call him Velcro

That's funny, I didn't know they could do that. I don't think he's doing that, they are still those tight little balls puppies have.
