Fo' Sho' Wildwest! I wonder how much speed is a factor? Around here, you'd be hard pressed to find many roads with a 65 mph limit, except the interstates....so, in total interstate miles, easterners have alot less roads (in miles), than some of those big western states......and I think our average mph is lower too. Wondering how much speed is a factor in the accidents from these surveys.
Your own private luge track!! This odd bugger was unstoppable with 4 studded snows, interesting lil car, front wheel drive and could engage the rear axle (thus 4 studded snows). Pic off internet, mine rode a few inches higher, think this one is FWD).
It's official. I a certified forklift trainer. Should be interesting with some of the people I work with.
Mid 40's here today. Warm enough to fire up the grill for dinner tonight...cook up some taters and pork steaks. About time for a couple cold barely pops.
Curling. Could you help me out here Woodwidow . We've been watching the curling on the Olympics and have a little problem understanding the game and scoring. What is the Power Play and when do they invoke it? How is the game scored? What is the "Hammer" they talk about? I told my wife I was going to marry one of those curling ladies. She asked why? I said, "those gals are good with the broom. I would have the cleanest house in the county." Needless to say, she did not find much humor in it.
Been that way since Sunday.. Wife gets out no problem.. I think we will sand tomorrow.. Ice is about 3/4 inch thick. Tomorrow is supposed to warm up a bit. I hope Or rent a zamboni and get hockey skates
I've actually curled. The brooms are used like that to heat up the ice to allow the stone to go further. That's all I got. Our Wisconsinite curling siblings lost after beating the Russians in the Olympics. But they know how to deal with it. Matt on the left drinking with a canadian curler.
No silly. Matt and Becca Hamilton are siblings, and Wisconsinites. 5 things to know about Becca and Matt Hamilton, Wisconsin's sibling curlers There's plenty more Wisconsinites in the winter Olympics though.
