They want 35, 37 bucks for it other places.
I had to bend the pocket clip out a little bit, I finally got it clipped in my pocket and could barely get it out, it's just right now

Hey, heads up to anyone in CAnada (or the US for that matter). I've had my eye on the Spyderco Sage 1 (liner-lock) for a while. Amazon.ca currently has it for CAD$135. It's US$140 on the US site.

I had to pull the trigger.

I was browsing the Warriors & Wonders website and they had a Cold Steel American Lawman with the Coyote tan scales for $105 (just a couple dollars more than it would cost from Blade HQ). The black scales were $40 more. Neat little knife but the lock is very stiff to disengage. My fingers and thumb are all sore from pressing down the lock bar but I'd imagine that after a couple hundred (or thousand?) open/closes it should loosen up.
Oh and it was extremely sharp. I was oiling the blade and wiping the blade with my finger and got momentarily distracted. I think y'all can figure what happened next:doh:

Family photo. Have to cap it at three. My wife is going to freak out if I get another. Also have to explain to her that fixed blade knives don't count. :D

Yep, they are autos, automatic knife ban has recently been repealed in Michigan and many other states.
Stupid law anyway other knives can be opened as fast,,autos are just cool though

and that's why our border clowns have "outlawed" flippers and included any knife that can be opened one handed "easily" as "prohibited weapons". Even though we can buy assisted opening knives, flippers and thumb stud/spydie hole knives legally up here, we cannot import them.

yeah i read about that law. pretty weird/stupid stuff. if we can't import them, does that mean eventually merchants run out of inventory and we won't be able to buy them? that was partially what motivated me to get the sage. I figured...hey it might not be available in a few years.

I love my Endura 4, It's Been through a lot in 4 years. The blade is quite hard and takes some time to keep sharp

I have noticed that KAI (ZT/Kershaw) will not send anything to us if it is in any way considered as a potential weapon as well as Buck, Benchmade and probably Spyderco. Warriors and Wonders has delisted some flippers, however, they have brought in new knife maker's lines that have flippers, so not sure what is going on there. A local shop (Kutter's) in Ottawa said that when I bought the last ZT 0450cf, that it would be a long time until they get new ZT's in - if ever.

From the little that I can gather, CBSA will, so far, allow retailers to import knives but we as individuals will not be able to import the same model knives. I fear that our baby sitter government is heading toward the way the knife laws are in the U.K.

Dang. I might tell my wife I sold my Delica. So that I can get the boker urban trapper in cocobolo. That’s a sweet looking knife. Of course I won’t sell the Delica. She won’t notice.
