    I gave my notice to TX dept of Transportation Wednesday. I couldn't justify the pay to hours worked ratio. We plan on helping my Mom out in Oregon so more visits there.

    Congratulations! Always nice to have options. At the end of every day I contemplate how I could have spent the day better than earning a few extra dollars. Family time is definitely one of those ways, even if they drive us a little crazy at times. Enjoy, and it sounds like you can always go back to work again if you find yourself bored.
