What does a man do when they get their John Deere 850 bulldozer stuck in the mud? Go get his bride (literally) and have her pull him out with the Kubota of course!
Yes, they were a thought my father had so that he could plow out his driveway faster. They really did not work well. Maybe if they were bolt on, but being welded it was just too much to load gravel and soil; something we do a lot of here. They have since been removed, but my snow clearing efforts are done with my dozer, something I did not have when this photo was taken.
That jred doesn't look very good in there, I'll send you a pm with my addy, just drip the saw off and I'll send you a 450 rancher so it matches the bota .
We put almost 40 hours onto a rented kubota this summer. Incredibly useful machine. The summer prior we sprayed a lot of invasives, and then came through this summer with the excavator. We could rip and pile multiflora rose, oriental bittersweet, and other nasties, and then scoop up with a grabber on the tractor. I wish I could justify one of these! Wife is running the machine in this pic, ripping out some dead elm with brambles at its base.
That's a fun tool right there. My BIL I'd supposed to be getting one, that would be sweet to have available. I used the bota yesterday, had a few saws to run and made a mess, Kubota to the rescue. Probably could have used the wheel barrow but it was full of firewood.
Gotta run the saws, they don't like to sit to long, kinda like me . I also had some chains(special ones ) and saws I wanted to run that I had never run and a couple I'll be selling soon, can't keep them all, bummer lol. I'm still getting the hang of this cutting wood thing lol. Yep burned cookies all weekend and right up till yesterday except at night I burned splits and some "longer" rounds . I don't have to measure, I think I have a couple cord at least . Oh he knows, he's messing, gotta watch Dennis . Here's the next load, few saws that needed tuned. And one of a few videos I had my boy(Dennis' buddy) film for me. Here's one of the saws I was "working" with.
ROPS always down if up hits lights in the barn, I found this out hardway. Another tip, my tractor went in for a 7 year check up. Just to check belts batteries etc etc dealer offered a special including pick up and drop off. Here's tip, check all pins especially on attachments after being loaded on flat bed before you use it. Why do I got to learn the hard way
Me too. I might use it but have to have it down to get into the barn. But then, all the tractors I've operated over the years never had that crap on them.
