I've burned close to 3 cord. I usually burn around 5, I think it be about that for this year. I have a small house, easy to heat with the stove in the living room.

We are about 5/8 of our way through our second ton of Envi-8 Blocks. This year we are using more oil though to heat the further areas away from the wood stove. Plus are heating our bedroom with electric. Which means I'll get about two weeks more from our current ton of blocks. Most likely I'll go 3-4 tons like last year.

With any luck, next year will be better all around. Hoping to have 2 cords ready to burn along with two tons of blocks. The year after we should be off of blocks all together. Though I've considered purchasing one ton each year just to have them on hand in a pinch. Time will tell how that plan plays out.

Gone through a little less than 3 cords so far with 1 ready to go. More in the backyard. House is warm and I'm not worried.

"Half your wood and hay on groundhog's day." I am tracking right on that this year, 3.5 cord burned of 7 planned. About average.

I’ve burned close to 3 cord. That’s already 1/2 cord more than normal. Brother has a bunch of dead ash in the 10-15” range I’m about to hit hard

This is my first winter using a stove for heating. In the time I've been using it, I have developed my own way to get the most from the stack of wood that I have out back. First up, I get the stove good and hot and quickly. Pallet wood (untreated) for kindling gets the firebox glowing in rapid time. I then start adding chunks of wood mainly in the North/South orientation. Once I have the stove temp up around the 270C I close down by 80% the airwash to the firebox. The stove ticks along around 500f for far longer and thus less wood is used.

    But you already know this!!

All said and done, I wish I had my stove installed years ago. I LOVE IT!!!!
