Hadn't lubed one since I retired five years ago and I just used the machine oil we had. I'd probably use mobil1 if I lubed em now. I use it for my guns and have for years.
Good luck! Hope it isn't cherished. Tough one to learn on. I use clipper oil for lube. It's very light weight. Just a drop or 2.
M21-12G fixed. took it apart and removed the little secondary lock deal, don't like it, don't think it's necessary, much better, now I really! like this knife
I bought a bottle of BM Blue Lube 6 months ago or so, but don't really see much difference between it or any other fine oil (except for price). When it runs out, probably go back to using 3 in 1. I don't typically use my folders for food prep anyway.
Boker Kalashnikov Auto Knife, AUS-8 came today. happy birthday to me I like it and I like the fact I can carry it legally. great knife for 40 bucks, it's not as thick as it looked in the pictures, pocket clip is good, sets deep in the pocket, came sharp out of the box, not polished butt Sharp
You'll like that knife, mine was razor sharp new. I mainly used mine to cut open boxes with. some were pretty heavy and the blade never got loose.
I'm looking at the Mini Kalashnikov Auto, with the CPM-S30V steel, I think that would be a cool little knife to have, haven't made up my mind yet
I think this is a good looking knife, I like how thin it is,, like the blade too, spring assist works great, not high end Steel but 22 bucks on Amazon Kershaw Cryo (1555TI); 2.75” 8Cr13MoV Steel Blade and Stainless Steel Handle with Titanium Carbo-Nitride Coating, SpeedSafe Assisted Opening, Frame Lock, 4-Position Deep-Carry Pocketclip;
