I forgot which thread has the pics of pellet strainers so I'm posting it here. I prefer this set-up over my vac system, soooo much faster:thumbs:
It consist of flipping it up out of the way system and can get into my 3 ton storage on the left behind the big door which is underneath my home split level entrance:yes:
I've used old deck lumber so beware of obscene picso_O

Slick. So the larger stuff travels to the further bucket while the chips and fines sift out and land in the back bucket.

Does it flow well enough with gravity, or do you have to "encourage" things along. I can see a lot of mid sized stuff getting stuck in the screen after a couple bags...

Also, what's with the cardboard on the bottom section? Is that just to keep things confined along the sifting chute? Help keep dust down and deserters from jumping ship?

Deserters jumping ship! In the bucket they stay:D
I've used 1/4" screen and yes you do get stuck pellets at times but the trick to avoid it is to a have a steeper slope but with a long stretch of screening. I covered the screening part too for the bouncy pellets projected about.
Self gravity fed but the bag part is at your own speed. The 2x4 newer section is a modified part to have the pellets bounce off the laminate flooring piece before trickling down the screen. Works much better that way. I might increase the slope for the bag later.

You won't know what your reduction is until you file your taxes for 2017 next year. that should be more telling than the change in your weekly check. I am up in the air because my income is from annuities. What I pay in taxes each month is what I tell them to take out. The H&R person wasn't able to tell me much as they are still getting information. I am thinking it will be one to two thousand less for me.
