Is the owner, where the stump is located, responsible if limb falls from wind, rot, etc. and causes damage?
This is an interesting article. Encroaching Trees: Who Has The Right To Do What? | Stimmel Law Every state allows property owners to trim and remove branches, shrubs and roots that invade their property but most states require the owner to first give the owner of the tree or shrub adequate notice to solve the problem him or herself and advise them that such cutting is planned. Usually, the trimming may only be up to the property line and one cannot enter the adjoining property without prior consent unless there is immediate danger to life or property.
Must be a heck of a swing on that wood going from vertical standing to finding its horizontal balance!!
Can you show us a picture of how much you have cut/split/stacked so far? By my calculation, being almost 2 hours into the job, you should be just finishing up with cord #2...
Yeah.. the guy in the tree went for a nice ride when that tipped horizontal. He and the crane operator had a good chuckle. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
Nice crane ! That's how they took out a tree next door, lifted it right over the house and into the front yard.
And the resulting pile. Not nearly as big as I'd have liked. Saw a whole bunch of BTU's being chipped. But, I understand that time is a resource to these guys. Overall, very pleased with the work done and result. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
