The Traverse was still the older larger platform for 2017. But ugly as sin in comparison to the Acadia IMO. I'd love to get her an Acra MDX, but she hates leather seats....which rules out all the higher end suv's
Yeah, I guess it was still on the older chassis in 17. A cousin of mine has a 2017 Acadia. That's on the new smaller chassis. It seems ok, but I'm not a GM guy.
I hate those nights we get called out for structure fires. One cause someone has lost something or their home, possibly life and two, to a lesser amout cause you have to get up in the night. And about 50% of the time it seems like you get retoned out for a rekindle.
On call nights get crazy sometimes old farms and worn out equipment. When it gets to the -2 and below range it gets wild EVERYTHING freezes up solid. Milk lines, air lines, motors, hydrolocs, vacuum pumps, chemical pumps, chemicals. You never know what’s gonna happen. I enjoy the surprise but today can buzz off I’m catching the flu and feel awful.
Just started hearing about folks receiving some wild electric bills. Seems this has been happening since they've installed the new smart readers. One family I hear has doubled while another one received a bill for $1700 for one month service! Crazy. Another, people heat with wood and no changes made to regular electric but bill went up $170 in a month. Hum... Something strange going on here. Ours is up this month but it was expected as we simply used more electric. If you want to play, you have to pay.
That is weird. They installed a smart meter on my house a couple of years ago and there was absolutely no change. Maybe some of those families had insider help with lowering their bills? Although I don't see how a household could possibly use $1700 unless their electric heat and air conditioner are duking it out while they leave their fridge and freezer doors open and the hot water spigots flowing all the time (with electric water heater) and oh yeah, with all that water flowing they would need a dehumidifier or two (those use lots of electricity) and their house is about 2,000,000 sq/ft.
Holy crap Dennis! Don't remember when I saw you this early....excepting for the can't sleep time awhile back.....
