I need to get some of those, but I KNOW someone will walk in the house and across the pine floors with them on.

38 here, supposed to dip to 25. I rode the 11am half load of white pine as far as I could get it, got distracted making pizza and watching IT with the family, so I'm rebuilding now with red maple and hemlock for the overnight. Glad to have tomorrow off, looks like it'll be a good day for some splitting and stacking!

    -33 again this morning Poplar.
Sask; I know what you mean by short sleep, fill the stove . with our old stove. I would fill it @2:30 am and my wife would get up at 5 and fill it. . Its a lot better now that I moved the Toyo. It picks up the heating load when the stove slows down .

Well the NWS dropped the ball on this one , last night they said less than an inch of snow , this morning they changed it to about an inch expected .
We already got about 4" now they changed it to this
..WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS EVENING...

    * WHAT...Heavy snow occurring. Plan on difficult travel
conditions. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are
expected, bringing storm total accumulations of 6 to 10 inches.

Yup. They blew it. But then, they have been missing it for quite some time now. They seem to go through this off and on. Funny though that accuweather predicted 3-6" for Tuesday night and Wednesday. Then they wiped that right off the map. Just jumping the gun again.

It appears the bulk of the snow has moved to the east but still some more are popping up. Just started snowing again here.

We got maybe 1 1/2" here, so no big deal, but they hyped it as the snowpocalypse. I see they really blew on the East side LOL.

I think they got more down at Oakland County.
First they underestimate then they overestimate, the way they were talking we were going to get dumped on, oh well whatever, not too bad anyway, actually I think I only got like 3 in

Low in Glennallen and at work was 37 below this morning . Warmed up to -12 at the cabin. Down to -25 atm.
Poplar and a white spruce split in the stove.
Took over 2 hours to get the truck warmed up enough for the days work today. Had to bring it into the shop for an hour to get the hydraulics and air system working right.
They insist on using timers for the truck and vehicle plug ins where I work. So far 2 times out of 6 . The timer had screwed up and didn't send electricity to the trucks.
Company has lost 10 times the $$ value of the elect. In paying man hours to get the iron running.
I blank blank ECT HATE electrical timers.
Never been around one that didn't let me down when it was needed.
