Today is both Monday and Friday for me. Headed down south for some R&R with the wife tomorrow. Lots of stuff to get done today.
Caffeine going in. Time to get going and get some errands done this morning. My wife has been driving her Honda Pilot for over 10 years now. We think she got her money out of it. LOL It’s time for me to find her a particular vehicle she wants this time, and stay within budget. That will be completed this morning.
Heck, she just got it broke in, no? My 05 corolla is pushing 270K now. Every time I think about getting another vehicle, I think of how nice it is to not be tied down to payments.
Mornin' Hoarders.................well another week about to kick off. Woke up to +4 and clear. Coffee is awesome this morning. They say we may get a 2-4" kiss of snow mid week. Snowmobile trail across the road was busy yesterday but not sure what they are running on as there isn't a whole lot of snow left on it. Not much on the agenda today so guess I'll go out to the shop and find something to get into. Hope Gas has luck finding the bride her new vehicle. Everyone stay safe and warm and have a great day....
Well rottiman , what do you think we should call today? Kinda feels like a Mon but I just don't know for sure!! It just may end up being another Sat.........
not sure what to call it Dave, but sure is nice to not have to get back into the harness for another week of plowing in the workplace...........
The SW Florida Bald Eagle chicks are 37 days old and growing like weeds................. Live Eagle Cam
We had a really wet and windy day yesterday. stayed on the couch and watched curling and worked on finishing the sweater. Appropriately it is a curling sweater for my son-in-law. Headed out for our walk this morning.
Just got back from our walk. Rain sprinkles, stars and a huge yellow moon on the horizon. We will have really high tides today. The moon looked like a harvest moon.
On the 31st... There'll be a Blue Moon, Blood Moon, and a Super Moon. First time in like 152 years that all three were on the same night. Don't miss the first super blue blood moon for 152 years
My little girl loves banana bread. I'e found that the best I've ever had is if I buy the chiquita mix that they sell next to the bananas. I go by the recipe, but add at least three really ripe bananas. It's consistently awesome.
It’s still a decent vehicle, but starting to nickel and dime her every time we turn around. And she usually has three or more kids in the car with her so doesn’t want to be stranded coming back from a game or something. Only 136,000 miles on it, but she wants something newer. Looking at 14 & 15s with low mileage- 20-30,000 miles. Tough to find what she wants and stay in budget she wants though. May have to spend a little more.
