Figure what is in the pile, ask him if he is interested in selling it all at one time cash money. Get a trailer and take the logs home to cut. Remind him all the mess will go with it and one and done. This is usually preferred unless he is selling to make a living.
Where were you seeing the wood? I've seen some pine around, but but not hardwood. I took a spin through town today, and only saw some wood high up on a steep hill next to one of the main roads. I've seen asplundh around, so I know they're active, but I'm just not seeing the wood anywhere? We'e you seeing it on side roads?
I delivered wood to a guy rt on a main rd where all the houses had the river pretty much in their yard. If that helps I came from Mason and saw wood on the side rds. I even asked the guy why he wasnt out trying to grab some. I was down alot of those quiet side rds. I dont know pelham well sorry bud.
That helps! I don't know the town well myself, I've only been hear a year and a half. I'll need to scope the side roads.
I think he would. I just don't have it to do right now. Again, he has more than you see in the pic so, my short term plan is to get a couple loads with the 250 and go from there.
Watch the orange flagged trees that asplundh and eversource flag on the side of the road. They are takedowns (hazard trees) when they get around to them. I did hazard tree removal for them for a while, like i said theres so many pellet burners and people that dont want the wood. The trimmers dont leave much wood and if they do its small stuff, which of course any of us would take. I used to bring home a rediculous amount of wood.
I love NH, i even started to like Tom Bradyand the Pats as a football fan how can you not appreciate how they play and his accomplishments , im still a giants fan though!
This. Most are just out to make a few bucks and not deal with headaches. Your better off offering a price for all, that way you don't have to worry about someone else coming in and getting your score.
