have been in this exact boat. A little while back I had a ported thread. A few of the fellas posted, I was not smart enough to ask for pics of work. There were several porters that replied. One of the being huskihl we spoke a bit. I bought my first ported saw from him. It was a 026 and in all honesty I think I got the better end of that deal. He has my 261 for porting now. I believe that is the pics that he posted earlier in this thread. I have the utmost confidence in huskihl's ability. He has kept me up to date during the quick turnaround. Having read through this thread there is only one that has posted, any proof pics. t4driller I am sure you can find a few different porter here. If you ask around some of the fellas here maybe able to give you their experience with the porter that they used. Good luck finding the one your comfortable with.

There are quite a few porters that are online @ youtube. Check out their 261 saws, most of them show stock hard and soft wood then ported hard and soft wood.
    All the best
    Tom
