Been cutting this treeline for some time, watchin the recorded stuff later on makes you aware of your mistake i figured out at some point. I hope you enjoy as much as i did... standing in a ditch while cutting trees aint my favorite.
I hear ye, the restricted movement bothered me most. In the end it was worth the trouble - situations been solved, next time even better. Should be a around 4fm =1,10358 cord.. i got out of it so far. Theres still some trees layin, waiting to join the pile -will be a bit more in the end.
The last time I was cutting in the ditch bank, I slipped. Danged back kept me down for 2 weeks. I then just swore off cutting those trees, and there are a lot of them along the 1/4 mile+ distance we have along the creek. It is not worth it.
Yep thats doesnt sound worth it, got anyone in the family who got a harvester? I bet it would be way under 30min for that 1/4 mile
No, don't have one of those. But do have either tractor or atv with winch to pull them out if someone else cuts them.
Hehe, that would be fun eh, cutting firewood in no time. I would volunteer in exchange for beer and food, its just the thing with the big ole pond.
In the field its around 1meter, gonnae cut them down to 33,33cm ...sort of. My fireplace wont go bigger than 45cm and thats like playin Tetris. Need to buy a new one, i was allready looking at ones, where 50cm wouldnt be an issue.
