No GFCI breaker. Flipped the breaker to make sure it still had contact and metered it out to make sure I had 240VAC.

This seems to be a common problem - there's even a class action suit out there for it. Found a new fuse for $15, but won't be here until Monday.

And the CDC admits that's only 10% of the Cases will the shot worked. They missed the major strain yet again.

Oh no! That’s terrible. I hope she has a speedy recovery and you don’t get it.

Most people out our way hate electric, and would kill to have Nat. gas. Most places here do not have a gas line in the area. Some use propane, but are afraid of the tank being close to the house, so most do with the electric. Truth be told, we have a gas line right at the front of the property, but haven’t done the conversion from electric. Once we need a new furnace, we are going to do the stove to. Also, I’m tired of paying $600 for a month's worth of heating oil.

We have been trying all day without any luck. Goes in comes back out in short order. This keeps up we might be in order for some IV therapy.

Propane ain't any better , just paid $500+ to refill the tank 310.2 gal / 1.74 per - that got me all of Dec. and up to yesterday and the last 2 days of Nov. . That's a grand worth of propane for this season. Chimney guy coming tomorrow ( ) so I can start making progress on stove's installs. Window seals leaking (26 year old Anderson casement units) 6" side walls , have no idea what might or might not be there insulation wise. Just bought the place a couple months back, so still finding the surprises. Local Gov. has a ban in place on OWB :( ( sump pump disintegrated last week- cheap fix as I had a spare that I repaired a few years back). I got to get one of those cams on a flexible wand to see whats what in the walls (then again maybe I don't want to know). Trials and tribulations of home ownership- on the other hand out in the sticks, quiet, and very little dirt bag activity vs the metro areas.

Hang in there with the better half hope it gets resolved soon.

I thought she had the regular Flu. If she has the stomach type she should be over it in 24hours. It’s going around everywhere. It’s a Noro virus. Our grandkids had it and gave it to my wife. She is just getting over it. My daughter in law said It can take up to two weeks to incubate, so be careful about looking out for yourself. Definitely keep the IV in mind. Dehydration can cause problems.

Good luck and sending healthy thoughts your way.

I hear you about the house problems. The water heater needs a thing called a Tiger Loop installed at a cost of $475. The heater trips out at unpredictable times. Usually as you are just about to take a shower. Never really did that until this winter. It’s over ten years old, but still never had a problem. They say it’s air bubbles in the line. Oil heat is expensive no matter which way you cut it. Wood stove is on now that there’s little chance of frozen pipes overnight in the basement. Good luck with the windows and insulation.

She has had 3 one day occurrences of it in the last two weeks. Today, she got hit broadside and hard, me thinks this may last awhile. Appreciate the concerns and we will get her thru it.

We had similar here in 2014 NortheastAl , lil one had a stomach flu bug that lasted a night or so, then it hit WWW and then me, we were bent over the sinks for days and both had to go get iv fluids, him twice that week. Thank goodness we were staggered by a couple days and that if rottiman gets it they are a few days apart too. And yes, lil one sprang back to her normal self in a day or so unlike us old farts.

ETA rottiman , I was given a tiny lil pill to stop the nausea and vomiting, as well as something for the other end too, do I remember you have a health service to call a doc or nurse? (or was that just for your elbow).
